Before i fitted them the lower range power was a lot harder to control, we would have to run the engine up to 3500 to 4000rpm to get the boat moving along nicley and on the plane and even then you could leave the throttle in the same position and it would either take off like a rocket or drop down in speed, i was always on the throttle if i wanted to do a steady pace of around 15 to 20 knts. I have to agree even though i have not set mine up properly they are worth every penny. and maybe give me a few ideas to think about before my next visit down to the boat. I have not come to the end of the line myself with this problem but thought the lads on here may have experience and more knowledge than me on this subject. If i have gone through the pressure settings do i now start to reduce the angle of the tabs and will this make a differance?Īlso somebody posted that they are worth every penny especially if you dont have the 70/75hp engine, i was under the impression that they were for the boat with big power to weight ratio? I may be wrong! Now i am presuming that if the boat has lost top speed then the tabs are not lifting?
